Question:
Discuss about the Leadership Practices for the Management of Contemporary Enterprises.
Answer:

Introduction
The emergence of leadership is evident when various organizational activities are practiced (Western, 2008). Shifts modifications and flows are often anticipated as prior actions are interpreted for their meanings to be derived and for their ensuing consequences to be underscored. Practices relating to leadership often pave the way for different consequences. The current research endeavors to examine critical theory approach and the meaning it portends for business leaders and its relevance to my professional practices in future and the application of definitions to familiar leadership contexts.
Critical theory approach
The approach emphasizes the requirement that individuals leading organizations should be able to critique their modern surroundings such that underlying opportunities can be underscored. Moreover, provisions that offer some explanations into occurrences which are social can be scrutinized (Denis, Langley & Rouleau, 2010). The implication is that the insights availed can be relied on to develop foundations which can be considered to be stronger. Moreover, the position taken can have a strong inclination that is ethical.
The theory implies that leaders spearheading various organizational operations can ensure that some improvements are fostered with regards to the conditions that people are subjected to. Value judgement, as well as individual autonomy, is greatly enhanced when individuals spearheading various operations that pertain to an enterprise adhere to the Critical Theory Approach.
Leaders can ascertain that factors which limit the liberties accruing to individuals are eradicated. Furthermore, factors which might pave the way for the reduction of collective agency can be addressed. Hence, it offers an avenue through which leaders can be able to ensure that social structures which are unique are created.
Working definitions to familiar leadership contexts
General Montgomery asserts that leadership relates to the inherent capacity to ensure that men and their female counterparts are rallied to ensure that they achieve a purpose that is common while at the same time adopting a character that makes it possible for confidence to be inspired (Haslam, 2013). Hence, leadership assumes an integral role for different objectives which are set to be attained. Organizations formulate teams intended to achieve the mandate established by the enterprises involved. Coca-Cola is a company I have worked for with an extensive team intended to lead organizational operations. For the company, leadership assumes different perspectives geared towards the achievement of its mandate.
However, the consensus on Coca Cola’s leadership is that it should involve activities that offer direction internally as well as externally (Carroll, Levy & Richmond, 2008). Hence, leaders in various capacities work towards fostering an environment in which fairness is promoted. Moreover, the enterprise bestows the mantle of ascertaining that diversity is appreciated on the strategies implemented for leadership. The outcome is that individuals can be respected albeit their differences with the parties they interact with or even evident similarities.
The relevance of the Critical Theory Approach to my professional practice in future
The approach is bound to impact my professional undertakings immensely in the future. More specifically, it would help to enhance my subjectivity with regards to career activities that I might be involved in (Endrissat & von Arx, 2013). Practices that I would indulge in relating to management would be ethically inclined. The result is that my conduct in different set-ups that might be of a corporate nature would be exemplary. Hence, it would offer as an example to be relied on by fellow workers particularly where social constructs are involved.
The theory avails provisions that would facilitate the achievement of my highest potential individually (Raelin, 2011). However, responsibilities that would have to be assumed would not only be focused on an individual, but also on other parties that might be affected. Greater emphasis is on power relations which can affect people who are not only marginalized but also disposed of. As a future leader, the approach ascertains that I am responsible for respective communities and the environment in which they live. However, it is also mandatory that I am capable of adapting to situations which might be presented for the attainment of outcomes that are positive.
Conclusion
People required to manage enterprises are required to possess various skills that would ease operations. It is essential that individuals occupying leadership positions can view the organization as a single entity with different parts whose potential of affecting each other is extensive. Regardless of the complexities that might be presented in various surroundings, leadership practices which can be deemed as appropriate offer the possibility for their reconciliation.
