Answer:
Without the ability to bring the subject matter to life, art would not exist. My art work is a constant search for the best way to explain and interpret the ideas that I have about the world I live in. As an artist, I work and explore to develop drawings that speaks for the people that don’t or can’t express themselves.
I intend to use pencil for most of my projects and then use brush and water color for the negative space. I explore and create a lot of interesting effects by using just a few drops of water. The brush tips allow me to play around with different strokes and styles. The technique that I love as an artist is line quality and pattern because it shapes the drawing that I have in mind. I intend to make my art work around 15 to 17 inches, that gives me enough space to work with and maximize my abilities to do my best. I also tend to make the movement more liner than usual. Most of my works gives the viewer a sense of relief and calmness.

What were the biggest challenges for you when completing this project?
In the beginning I felt that learning Art and the method of holding the brushes and learning the painting strokes was very difficult. It was really a very tough job. At the same time it was also very interesting to learn the innovative art techniques.
Do you feel you have used the materials successfully? Why or why not?
I have also been able to make the shapes of the painted figures properly and use the maximum amount of space that is needed.
Do you feel you have created a successful composition? Why or why not?
Yes, I think that I have been able to use these techniques properly. This is because I have been using them for adding expression and voice to those that cannot express them.
Do you feel there are any ways you could have improved on this project?
I think that I have used the techniques properly. I have been able to make the figures in a very expressive manner. However I still intend to develop my skill of painting. I can do this by making the lines sharper and liner than making them usual.
How do you feel about working in the role of an artist? Has your perspective on this changed since the beginning of class?
I feel that it is a great opportunity to work as an artist. This is mainly because I can add voice and expression to the non expressive items. I can add life to the lifeless objects through my painting strokes and colors’.
