In most cases, different authorities have been on high alert when natural disaster it different tourism destinations in warning people from visiting affected areas and keeping tourism afloat in areas that experience natural disasters. Furthermore, natural disasters reduce operations of tourism destinations by leading to halting immediate income from tourism (Pennington-Gray, 2014). Therefore, security situation of popular destinations has been challenging on tourism industry. Acts of terror have been shaking up different holiday spots for several months presently (Lisowska, 2017). For instance, in Tunisia, the number of booking decreased after the assault of Sousse. After the attacks in France in Paris, the demand for the French capital sank as well. Most presently, the assault on Istanbul in turkey has shaken up tourism activities in Turkey. However, whatever may happen, the effect of terrorism is always diverse on operations of tourism destinations (Koc, 2016). Sometimes terrorism threats development of tourism destinations as tourists can be captured prior to the moment that they arrive at the country of their choice to view beautiful scenery. Cases of kidnapping also occur by the infamous group such as Al-Shabaab in Somalia that reduces development in operations of tourism destinations. Such cases of insecurity that result due to threats of terrorism hinder tourists from touring a given country that terrorists as taken over their boundaries (Qu & Qu, 2014). However, different authorities in tourism destination areas are working hard to ensure that number of threats of terrorists is gradually reducing.
