Students is identify and research into any business person which has a great influence as a leader in the business world. It could be a new product, discover something new, make the customers happy or taking risks e.t.c. The softcopy of the presentation slides, presentation summary (within 1000 words) and other supporting materials (if any) are to be uploaded in the Moodle on or before the scheduledpresentation date as well as a hard copy to be handed to the lecturer in class.
Each student can cover any three (3) the suggested topics below as part of the presentation as follows:

A person who inspires a group of people to achieve the goals
A person who holds the dominant or the superior position in the field and is capable of exercising high degree.
Creates an inspirational vision about the future and inspires other to engage and achieve the mission (Qin, Yu and Gao 2014).

Leadership

Art of motivating the people in order to achieve the goals.
It is the process by which the people or a group is motivated to perform their actions with a passion towards a common goal (Summerfield 2014).
It is a process by which a person is influenced to achieve an objective and directs the organization in a more united and consistent way.

A Brief Introduction about Elon Musk 

South African born American business entrepreneur, investor and an engineer.
Founder, CEO and lead designer of the organization “SpaceX”.
Co-founder, CEO and product architect of Tesla, Inc.
Co-founder and CEO of Neuralink (Forbes.com 2018).

Founded in the year 2002, SpaceX is an American private aerospace manufacturer and is engaged with the service of space transportation.
 
The organization has it’s headquarter in Hawthorne, California. It was found in order to reduce the cost of the transportation of the space in Mars.
 
The organization Tesla was founded in the year 2003, with its headquarters at Palo Alto, California. It is an American multinational corporation specializing in the manufacturing of electric vehicles, energy storage and solar panels.
 
Neuralink is an American neurotechnology company that seeks to develop implantable brain-computer interfaces. The organization was founded in the year 2016 and is headquartering at San Francisco.

Some Important Decisions Taken By Musk

Travelling to North America for the purpose of education
Dropping the university in order to “build the internet” (Muhlberg 2014).
Starting his first company, “Zip2”.
Founding of the company “X.com”
In order to promote the company PayPal, he joined with Peter Thiel and Max Levchin.

Musk grew up in the city of Pretoria which is a suburb of Johannesburg in South Africa and stayed there till he attained the age of 17. Later on he chose to attend military training from the Queen’s University and left for Canada. He, later on, went on to earn degrees in physics and business from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
After completing the graduation he went to earn a post graduate degree in applied physics at Stanford University. Then he realized that it was not what he wanted and went on to open a company of his own.
He then joined with his brother Kimbal and one of his friends, Greg Kouri and began a company “Zip2”. The company help to provide online publications of the Knight-Reader and other publications.
Later on in the year 1999, he started to execute the online financial services that were far better than the banks could provide. He named the service as “X.com”
Later on the online financial service company of Musk combined with the company of Thiel and Levchin, Pay Pal. This helped in the building of a successful business.

Starting the company SpaceX
Investing into Tesla Inc.
Helping in the foundation of “SolarCity”
Becoming the CEO of Tesla Inc.

After the introduction of the PayPal Company in the market, he switched his direction of mind and founded a company that would be providing better services in the field of space transformation. His interest in the space for a long time period led him to the foundation of the company SpaceX.
He then invested in the Tesla motors (presently known as Tesla Inc.) for the promotion of the first electric car. 
Musk was satisfied with the previous two inventions, and decided to concentrate even in the solar power. He then founded the company called SolarCity. He does not run the company but the goals of the company are very ambitious.
At the end of the year 2007, Eberhard the former CEO of Tesla was fired. Then the position was handed over to Michael Marks and then to Ze’ev Drori. Finally in the year 2008, Musk became the CEO of the company.

He is mostly inspired by the activities of the two famous persons:

Principle of Musk to Deal with Employees 

He forces the senior executives to find lout ways so that the employees are motivated
He inspires the employees through the method of selflessness.
He is of the view that the leaders should recognize what they trying to do so that the work does not lead to major faults.
The senior executives should find out new ways in order to inspire and motivate the subordinates.
He is of the view that the senior managers would be serving the company and they should not be served by the company (Aguinis and Bradley 2015).
He is of the view that the leaders should be working harder compared to those who are reporting them.
The leaders should make sure that the needs of the subordinates are taken care of regarding their needs.
The needs and other problems of the subordinates should be served prior to serving the problems of the leaders and higher officers.

Conclusion

Leaders are the basic of all organizations
Leadership id the process of motivating the subordinates.
Elon Musk is the of view that the leaders should help their subordinates in a selfless way in order to achieve the goals.
Leaders should at first recognize what they are trying to do so as to avoid major faults.
