The course conducted in last few weeks have helped a lot in understanding the project management. Basic concepts of a project have been taught to us in a proper way with the advantages and disadvantages of the project management. Besides the course also provided an over view of the various kind of project management methodologies as well. Different things that are needed for managing a project has all been disused in this course.

INTRODUCTION of the Project manager
Once the lesson was completed I learnt about the fact that the project managers are an important part of nay project. As they solely responsible for making the project run in a smooth and efficient way. Besides this I also understood the different responsibilities that the project manager is having. Selection of a proper project manager for a project is an important factor.
I came to know that project manager is a professional in the project management field. They are responsible for determining the important stages in a project which mainly includes the planning, procurement and the execution of the project. Besides this I also understood one of the major responsibility of the project manager is to ensure the fact that each and everyone involved in the project team is aware of their roles and are associated with the execution of their role in a proper way. Besides this the project manager is also associated with making sure of the fact the team members are feeling empowered and supported.

Introduction to the concept of project and project management
This course helped me a lot in understanding the basic concept of a project. A project is something which is considered to be a temporary endeavour undertaken to create a unique product, service or result. Besides this I also understood the fact that project management is also very important factor that helps in managing a project in a proper way
I learnt about the basic prospects of a project. Besides this the course also helped me in understanding the process of project management as well. I also understood the fact there exists different kind of project management strategies which are helpful in managing the projects and this methodologies are of different kid each having their own characteristics. The selection of project management methodology is done in accordance to the nature of the project.

Selection of the proper project management methodology

This is achievable as there exists numerous methodologies which are associated with providing of different kind of solutions for different type of projects
This is very much relevant as improper selection of project management methodology might lead to failure in the project.
Application of this strategy helps in achieving success along with helping in meeting all the goals and objectives that a project is having

I understood the basic concepts of risk management which are very much beneficial in overcoming each of the risk faced by the project
I learnt about the fact that risk management plays a very vital role in project management. Risks occur in each and every project and they are unavoidable. So the proper risk management strategy helps in the elimination of the major risks.

Preparation of a proper risk management strategy before initiating a project
In order to check if the strategy is working it is essential to note down the major risks that are likely to be faced and how the risk would be mitigated.
The risk is achievable because this can be made very easily by means of the risk matrix and the prioritization of the risks.
This would be helping in the elimination of the different kind of risks that might be faced.
Implementation of this strategy is possible by means of the risk matrix, along with the classification and prioritization of the risks.
Conclusion
This course helped me a lot in understanding the basic concept of a project which is a temporary endeavour associated with the production of certain good or service. And for delivering the outcomes of a project it is necessary to implement a proper project management strategy. The proper management strategy helps in completion of the project in an efficient and effective way. Besides this the selection of proper project management methodology is also an important component of the project management. This is mainly due to the reason that inappropriate selection of the methodology would lead to various unsuccessful delivery of the project. Lastly the course also helped in learning the risk management strategy. This helps in tackling or mitigating the various kinds of risk associated with the project.
